A beautiful and highly decorative dark green glass flacon/decanter, elegantly adorned with sculptural pewter (tin) mounts in a naturalistic leaf motif—strongly reflecting the flowing, organic forms of the Art Nouveau period.

The rich, deep green glass body has a smooth, rounded shape with a luminous quality, beautifully contrasted by the matte silver-toned pewter overlay that wraps around the shoulders like stylized foliage. The craftsmanship suggests European—very likely French or possibly Austrian—origin, as this combination of glass and metalwork is characteristic of late 19th to early 20th century Art Nouveau design.
