Description

Charming antique French lidded jar in deep cobalt blue glaze, beautifully hand-painted with a heraldic swan, crown, and scrolling decorative motifs. The piece features a warm ochre rim and fine detailing typical of Blois faience.

The base is signed “Ulysse Blois / E. Balon” and dated 1922, making it a desirable collectible example of early 20th-century French pottery. The jar retains its original lid and displays very well.

Ideal as a trinket box, small storage jar, or decorative cabinet piece.

Condition:
Good antique condition with light wear consistent with age. No major damage observed (please see photos).
